Finished out June with some Fun in the Sun!

I built an extension on the boys' swing set.
Three boys on a 3 X 3 area wasn't cutting it.
Since the pic I have added stain and just need to work on the roof.
Jake was in heaven at Fun Fest (downtown COS) where he got to meet a ton of drivers and check out some cool cars that would be driving in the Hill Climb up Pikes Peak.

Jake and Andreas at the Hill Climb! Just the two of them went and they had a blast! Right up Jake's alley!

One of the cars - Jake's favorite color

Jake has found a new love with diving under water! It is so great since he previously feared even a little splash.

Dark clouds are rolling in! Boys have daddy held up with their water guns.

Cade loves the water too!

Bring on Summer!

We have been enjoying our beautiful Colorado weather for May and June. Here are some pics....

Posing for a pic before we hit the mountain (Loveland ski area that is) the first week of May! It was uncle Sam, Mac, Nate, Jake and I.

Skiing is hard work! This was Jake's first time skiing on a real ski hill. It was gorgeous!

Delish! Cade thinks this is one of the best things about summer.

Hiking in Ute Valley sure knocks you out. Nick was just a singing away and then it was quiet and Andreas was packing a bobble head.

We went to the zoo for momma's birthday. Jake is holding a moose antler.

Feeding the birdies at the zoo is so much fun.

I think the pool has gotten a bit small. Their favorite saying of the day was "this is the life!"

Cade is on wheels!

Hiking at Garden of the Gods. Nick thought he could do everything the big boys could.

We went to the Fort Collins the middle of June to visit the Eliasons. The had so much fun. Jake left saying, "I want to stay here forever."

Pool, trampoline and a treehouse in the backyard ...what more could a kid ask for?

First day on the bloggin' job!

Well I have been inspired by a few fabulous moms to start a family blog to share what the three Ballard Boys and their parents are up to. The boys do things each day to make me laugh and smile, so hopefully I will be able to share a glimpse of that with you through this blog. No promises though on how well I will keep it updated...I will do my best!
