Monogram Necklace to support Friend Adopting a little girl from China

My friend Gretchen and her family are adopting a sweet little girl, Lillian from China. To help her raise money for the adoption journey I will be giving them half of all the profits from any Monogrammed Initial Necklace purchased now until her arrival (they probably will go to pick her up in June). The necklaces can be for you, a mom, a best friend. Initials can always be added if it is for a mom that may have more kiddos in the future.
You can get a Monogram Necklace at www.RockyMountainMommas.etsy.com

or you can just email me at saraballard6@yahoo.com if you don't want to set up an etsy account.
Abalone

Mother of Pearl (also can come in a soft green mussel shell)

Also, check out their blog for more info on their adoption story! http://coloradofranks.com/

Thanks,
Sara

Snow!!! Winter 2013

Well, the Ballard boys have hit the slopes this winter for some skiing! Dre and I are happy to say that all boys are on skis and making huge improvements! Jake has missed every other Friday of school to hit the slopes and it has certainly been worth it! He went once with just me and last Friday Andreas and him went up together. The other times we have went with all of the boys and over President's Day weekend we went with Gramma, Papa and the Eliasons! Our snow here is so random and we have many warm blue sky days so we have to get out and enjoy the snow when we can!...although I am getting antsy for spring and getting the garden going!

Fall with the Ballard Boys

Oh my gosh, I haven't sent an update in a while! We went to California at the beginning of October and I tried to just pick a couple pics but we had just too good of a time! For Halloween the boys were all Star Wars guys - Jengo, Boba and Darth Vader. We went to Gramma and Papa's for Thanksgiving and the boys had a great time running around with their cousins. We just got our tree this past Friday and the boys had fun putting the ornaments on - I think we only had 3 broken - not too bad. :) This past weekend we got a bit of snow so the boys were testing out the sled - they are getting a bit tight on one sled.
Merry Christmas!

Lego land was a blast!

This pic is so Nick!

The beach was right out our door! The boys loved digging in the sand, chasing birds and running in the ocean!

Our pool was fun!

The boys are all shark dudes so Sea World was a hit!

The boys loved checking out all of the jets on the Midway (guy next to Dre is not real - Nick is intrigued)

Ice cream at the Zoo

We met Marti and her fam at the Miramar Air Show! It was quite impressive!
Right before our flight home we squeezed in a trip to the tide pools! Everything was cool about it except for the shell that Sara couldn't resist bringing home...it didn't look like there was a critter in it but as it turns out there was of course. A bit stinky. :)

Halloween Star Wars Style!
